Data Protection & Privacy

Data collection derives directly from your emails or phone contact to (1) determine your needs and serve those needs, (2) complete the financial transaction, and (3) contact you with social or promotional information.

We never sell your contact information, and only share information it in the process of accomplishing these three business tasks.  You may unsubscribe from our email list or request that we delete your contact details entirely at any time.  Otherwise, this basic contact information is retained indefinitely.

We do not collect any financial information.  We only use contact information to prepare the invoices.  Payments are collected directly by our bank or PayPal, so we never collect or store your payment information.

EML makes efforts to put in place precautions to safeguard the security and privacy of personal data, and to prevent it from being altered, corrupted, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties. However, EML does not control each and every risk related to the use of the Internet, and therefore warns the Site users of the potential risks involved in the functioning and use of the Internet. The Site may include links to other web sites or other internet sources. As EML cannot control these web sites and external sources, EML cannot be held responsible for the provision or display of these web sites and external sources, and may not be held liable for the content, advertising, products, services or any other material available on or from these web sites or external sources.

We may hire vendors or agents to help us carry out business. For example, we use social media and marketing platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Mailchimp, GoogleAds, Google Analytics, WordPress and others, and we may connect with you on this platforms. Other companies may assist in protecting and securing our systems and services may need access to personal data in order to provide those functions. In such cases, these companies must abide by our data privacy and security requirements and are not allowed to use personal data they receive from us for any other purpose. We may also disclose personal data as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

At the time when this policy was created (January 26, 2020), we do not use contact forms or comments, as contact forms proved unreliable and comments yielded mostly spam.  However, articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.  These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We may also collect notes regarding individual and business needs.  These are only used to provide services.  They are never shared.  During our training courses, we video your practice sessions.  These are private videos that we only share with you.  They are deleted from the camera directly after the sessions.

Although we do not collect or retain financial information, we still protect your contact details with computer passwords.

If we become aware of a data breach, our procedure dictates that we will contact you to make you aware of the breach.

We do not use automated decision making and/or profiling with user data.

We currently maintain records for future service reference and for accounting/tax purposes.
